Singapore, August 25. The 2026 Silk Road Ten‑Thousand‑Mile Journey · Enlightenment Road ASEAN Leg has officially wrapped up in Singapore, marking the successful conclusion of this 33‑day cross‑border all‑media expedition.
Under the theme of “Innovation in Technology, Harmony in Civilization”, the media delegation set off from Xi’an, starting point of the ancient Silk Road. After passing multiple historic cities across China, the team traveled overseas to Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore, conducting field visits and in‑depth dialogues focusing on civil‑mutual learning, technological innovation and economic‑trade exchanges.
Marking the 5th anniversary of China‑ASEAN Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, the event connects the overland Silk Road with the 21st‑century Maritime Silk Road. Bringing together overseas Chinese communities, business circles and media practitioners, it presents vivid stories of BRI land‑sea coordinated development and advances people‑to‑people bonds and practical cooperation between China and ASEAN nations.
According to organizers, though this journey has come to an end, Silk‑Road‑themed exchanges will continue. More multilateral communication platforms will be built to advance the building of the China‑ASEAN community with a shared future.
