KL & Selangor Chen Clan Association Celebrates 130th Anniversary, Chen Entian Sends Congratulatory Letter

On the occasion of the 130th founding anniversary of the Kuala Lumpur & Selangor Chen Clan Association, Chen Entian, Co-Chairman of the Nanyang Chen Clan General Association, sent a congratulatory letter on behalf of the General Association, extending warm congratulations and sincere greetings to all members of the association. The letter highly affirmed the association’s fine traditions of honoring ancestors, uniting clansmen, advocating education and inheriting Chinese culture over the past 130 years. Rooted in Southeast Asia, the association has united Chen clansmen at home and abroad, promoted fine traditional Chinese culture, and contributed to the development of the overseas Chinese community in Malaysia as well as people-to-people friendship between China and Malaysia, winning wide recognition from all sectors. Chen Entian expressed the hope that the century-old association will continue inheriting cultural heritage, strengthen clan solidarity, deepen exchanges with overseas Chen clans, and make greater contributions to ethnic harmony, cultural inheritance and China-Malaysia people-to-people and economic cooperation.
