New York, September 7, 2026 (Local Time) — With 100 days to go before the 13th Belt and Road International Day (Silkworm God's Day), the preparatory meeting for the 13th Belt and Road International Day and the Global Chinatown Belt and Road New Year Celebration was held in New York in a hybrid online-offline format. Chen Entian, Chairman of the World Peace Ribbon Organization (World Peace and Unification Front Party), attended the meeting, together with youth student volunteer representatives from across the globe.
Chen Entian stated at the meeting that this year marks the 13th anniversary of Belt and Road International Day (Silkworm God's Day). The World Peace Ribbon Organization plans to host the Peace Light Lighting celebrations in more than 160 countries worldwide. Activity proposals are now being collected globally. Volunteers from all nations are welcome to share ideas for the celebration of the 13th Belt and Road International Day.
It is learned that since the establishment of Belt and Road International Day over the past thirteen years, approximately 300,000 volunteers around the world have signed up for relevant events, most of whom are young students. Chen Entian said young students are the main force for global development in the future, and they will inherit the mission of Belt and Road International Day (Silkworm God's Day). He also put forward the vision of uniting the Earth to build an Earth Nation, stating that this long-term mission rests on global youth.
