Chen Entian Congratulates the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of the Thai-Chinese Nine Associations Alliance

News Report On September 6, the grand ceremony celebrating the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Thai-Chinese Nine Associations Alliance was held at the Thai Teochew Association. Chen Entian, Chairman of the Silk Road Chamber Alliance and Director-General of the Silk Road News Agency, extended warm congratulations on the grand occasion. As a core and influential overseas Chinese organization in Thailand, the Thai-Chinese Nine Associations Alliance consists of nine regional hometown associations in Thailand, namely the Thai Teochew Association, Thai Hakka Association, Thai Kwong Siu Association, Thai Hainan Association, Thai Fukien Association, Thai Kiang Chew Association, Thai Taiwan Association, Thai Guangxi Association and Thai Yunnan Association. Covering overseas Chinese communities across Thailand, the alliance is led by prestigious industrialists, entrepreneurs and senior overseas Chinese leaders with high reputation in Thai-Chinese society.

For a long time, the Thai-Chinese Nine Associations Alliance has been led by the Thai Teochew Association and gathered elites from all sectors of the Thai-Chinese community. For more than 30 years, all member associations have adhered to the sound system of regular meetings and daily coordination. By uniting consensus and strength, the alliance has effectively integrated overseas Chinese resources, promoted economic and trade connectivity, cultural integration and overseas Chinese exchanges between China and Thailand. As a backbone force for maintaining the unity and stability of Thai-Chinese society and advancing non-governmental friendship between the two countries, it boasts outstanding social influence and appeal.

It is understood that Chen Entian has long been committed to international public welfare and cultural causes related to the Silk Road and is a renowned advocate of global peace. Together with Ji Chaozhu, former Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations, he founded the World Peace Ribbon Organization, put forward the five-in-one global peace proposition, and initiated the establishment of the International Day of the Belt and Road on December 16 and the Earth Unification Day Unity Day on January 1 each year, actively promoting global cultural mutual learning, peaceful development and international cooperation.

According to public records, although Chen Entian has repeatedly denied the relevant family origin, textual research conducted by renowned Chinese Party history scholars including Guo Dehong confirms that Chen Guangmei, grandfather of Chen Entian, was the son of Chen Duxiu,founder of the CPC and Gao Junman.
